4. Hosting & Security

4.1 Hosting

This website is hosted by Netlify Inc., 2325 3rd Street, Suite 215, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Netlify processes technical user data (e.g., IP addresses, website visits) in the USA. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of our website pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Netlify participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which ensures the lawful and secure transfer of personal data from the EU to the U.S. In addition, Netlify ensures that your data is processed in compliance with EU data protection standards by using the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission pursuant to Art. 46(2) and (3) GDPR.

We have also concluded a Data Processing Agreement with Netlify in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR, which forms the legal basis for the processing relationship.

4.2 Email Communication

Our email communication is handled via Amazon WorkMail, a service provided by Amazon Web Services Inc. (“AWS”), operated in the EU-West-1 (Ireland) region. By selecting this region, our email data (e.g., email addresses, message contents) is primarily stored and processed within the European Union.

The processing is based on a Data Processing Agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR and our legitimate interest in a reliable, efficient, and secure email infrastructure under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Although primary processing takes place within the EU, AWS may access data for limited purposes such as technical support. In such cases, AWS ensures compliance with EU data protection standards by applying the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR and by implementing additional technical and organizational safeguards.

4.3 SSL Encryption

This website uses SSL encryption for security, recognizable by "https://" and the padlock symbol in your browser.

5. Rights of Data Subjects
